Transformer Pads

Innovation in....

Material - The rotationally molded pad is manufactured from medium density polyethylene which combines toughness and stiffness in all soil conditions and temperatures ranging from -400 to over 1400F.

Design - PR1TA series pad is designed witha patented fork pocket base so transformers can be shipped directly from the factory and installed in the field on the same pallet-pad.

The grid design pad is manufactured from a patented in-line compression process that enhances the physical properties of the specially formulated polymer; blends the toughness of steel, the righidity of fiberglass and weatherability of concrete in a lightweight polymer design.

Process - Rotational molding process forms closed bottom holllow, stress free pads with superior toughness, excellent impact resistance and long term durability.

The original, reinforced, closed bottom molded pads have been time tested for over 35 years.

The smooth top deck with ribbed support structure drains completely and remains flat under single phase transformer loads.  Strength is achieved through a unique rib configuration with alternating full ground support rib and intersecting partial structural ribs.  The grid pattern under deck facilitates leveling and stabilizing of the transformer.  Unlike other grid style pads, the YEPR03 pad does not require any additional internal steel reinforcement for support.
